Comments!

So here’s something I just did: I turned on comments for Links and Quotes here at TNF. To get to the single page and leave a comment, you just have to click that little hash at the end of the entry in question. I don’t exactly recall why I didn’t do this in the first place. Perhaps because no one would pay any attention to those two sections.

Damned if I wasn’t wrong. They may not be an accurate representation of the whole, but the people who read my blog and talk to me in real life – most notably my sister-in-law Jessie – are actually clickin’ those links. And because I’d do anything to get that particular group commenting here, this seemed like a wise choice.

While we’re on the subject of my site, I’ve got a question for all you subscribers. Right now, I’ve only got one feed, and it only spits out the articles. Would anyone be interested in separate feeds for links and quotes? And would anyone (perish the thought) actually want to subscribe to a master feed?

If yes, say so, and you can consider it done.

Yay for the shout-out and attention to devoted readers of my subset :-).  Also, I’m loving the picture of Freya with the caption.  (I just had a moment of panic: is Freya actually spelled Freja?).  Can’t wait to see you and Meg and the baby belly!

I’m one of those weirdos who would actually prefer a master feed.

Hi!!  I’m commenting.  See - I DO read your blog!  I like the Freya picture online.  You know I’m not one to have much to say about your feeds question, unfortunately.  But I’ll keep checking back here!  ;-)

@Jessie - Freya has this thing for being orderly. The measuring tape was there, and she just decided parallel lines were the way to go. Weird cat. Very weird cat.

@Darren - Alright. That’s all I needed. Honestly, I probably would have done it anyway. I’m thinking the RSS link will now lead to a selection page with options for all four. As soon as there’s a spare moment…

@Megs - I believed you. And I know you’ll be back. ;)
